7.

All competitors may enter one level higher than their working or graduate level, plus the Open in the same level.  You may not go back a level, only forward.  All Around Winners will be based on a minimum of 10 freestyles in the same level and style.

Only 15% side by side work in all Pro/Am Freestyles.

9.

In any category with fewer than three entries, the organizers reserve the right to eliminate the age and sex divisions and merge competitors into one open division.

10.

Critique sheets and scores will be given for Exhibitions.  Studios should pick up score sheets on Sunday at the registration booth.

11.

Formations:Maximum time limit is three (3) minutes for single dance Four (4) minutes for a medley.

12.

All music must be on cassette or CD. No mini cassettes.

13.

Two teachers dancing with one student will be entered as a regular exhibition.

14.

Solos may not exceed three (3) minutes or music will be faded.

15.

Drops are allowed only in levels Gold and Advaced ProAm Freestyles.  This includes any type of leaning line. Drops are also allowed in Bronze, Silver, Gold or Advanced Solo Exhibitions.

16.

Lifts are allowed only in ProAm or Amateur Solo Exhibitions and in ProAm or Amateur old and Advanced Hustle Freestyles.

17.

Dress Code: No Costumes in Newcomer, Closed Pre-Bronze or Novice Levels. Evening Wear is suggested. Cocktail dresses for ladies and jackets or vests for gentlemen.  Costumes for professionals only in Newcomer,Closed Pre-Bronze or Novice.  All other levels, costumes are permitted. Dress Code Strictly Enforced.

18.

In order to enter ProAm or Amateur Scholarship Divisions, all competitors must be entered in at least eight (8) ProAm or Amateur freestyle dances.
