Top Teacher Awards

Century Club Bonus - Teachers with 300+ entries will receive a Top Teacher bonus of $500.00
Gentlemen and ladies are merged. Prize Money is awarded to those teachers with the highest number of points meeting the minimum entry criteria. All entries must be received before the May 21st deadline to be eligible.
How Points Are Accumulated
In all uncontested events (except Solos) the points will be halved. Junior Pro/Am events receive ½ the points described below.
Single Dances
1st - 6 points 2nd - 5 points 3rd - 4 points 4th - 3 points 5th - 2 points 6th – 1 point
Dance Challenge, Championships, and Scholarships
1st - 12 points 2nd - 10 points 3rd - 8 points 4th - 6 points 5th - 4 points 6th – 2 point
Solo Exhibitions
1st - 3 points 2nd - 2 points 3rd - 1 points
Top Student Awards
Awards are based on the number of entries received by the entry deadline and placement points earned. The award will be given to the top Pro/Am gentlemen and lady competitors in Newcomer, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. An award will also be given to the Top Overall Amateur. To be eligible for a “Top Student Award”, a student must enter a minimum of 25 Freestyle Events in the same level and be on Package A.
Top Studio Awards
Awards will be presented to the Top Small, Medium, and Large studios. To qualify you must have a minimum of two teachers competing in Pro/Am. Calculations are based on the number of packages, entries, and placement points. Only entries received by May 21, 2012 will be eligible.
Scholarships
All competitors must be entered in at least 10 Pro/Am or Amateur Freestyles.
Closed Scholarships: 1st - $150 2nd - $100 3rd - $80
Open Scholarships: 1st - $250 2nd - $150 3rd - $100

Professional Showdance

Fees will be waived for couples with combined Pro/Am entries of at least 50 as follows:
- 75 Pro/Am entries ......................... 1 Pro Rising Star event entry waived
- 100 or more Pro/Am entries .......... 1 Pro Open event entry waived
